Marjorie Barretto’s interview on ABS-CBN’s “Rated K”

Actress turned politician Marjorie Barretto has finally given her side in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN’s Korina Sanchez, which will air in full in Sunday’s episode of “Rated K.”

In a report made by ABS-CBN News, Marjorie Barretto is confident in sharing her inner thoughts regarding the issues that her family is facing through.

She is very hopeful that the Barretto clan will manage to surpass the latest feud to rock their clan of local celebrities.

The controversial actress, however, told ABS-CBN News that “a lot of damage has been done.”

“It’s hard to comment, even up to now, but siguro mas pangit sa pananaw ng tao than what is actually happening inside,” she said.

The issue started regarding Gretchen’s Instagram posts pertaining to Claudine not being happy about their niece, Julia Barretto, entering showbiz.

Julia was recently introduced as an artist of Star Magic, the ABS-CBN talent management firm that launched Claudine to stardom until her transfer to another network in 2009.

With this, Inday released a statement denying Claudine’s supposed plans to “block” Julia’s road to stardom.

In the same statement, Inday announced she has disowned Gretchen “in order to save one who has always been there for all, and with all of her love…Claudine.”

To clear things out regarding the feud, Joaquin and Gia had shared their insights taking sides on with mother and Gretchen. The latter sided with her mother and youngest sister, while Joaquin sided with Gretchen, who is supposedly in the same camp as Marjorie.

A few weeks following the public exchange of allegations among her family members, Marjorie became the subject of headlines anew when a sensitive photo of her, supposedly taken five years ago, made viral online, which made the netizens curious and tried to conclude different thoughts about the photos.

Three of her children, Dani, Julia and Claudia, expressed support for Marjorie, saying they are confident that their mother will overcome the controversy.

“My mother is super strong. I admire her strength. We all know naman the truth and malalampasan niya ‘yun. My gosh!” Julia said  in one of her media interview.

“I tell my children everything,” Marjorie said in her interview on “Rated K.” “I don’t keep anything from them. Whether it’s good or bad, basta alam nilang lahat.”

Marjorie and Julia Barretto despite controversies have been very brave and have been displaying exceptional character. The issues which striked them should not be a sole basis in judging them as a person.
